Beiragás

Founded in partnership with Galp Group, Beiragás operates in 59 municipalities in the districts of Castelo Branco, Guarda and Viseu (19 of them integrated in the network projects related to the first five years of activity), being the main distributor of natural gas in the central interior area of Portugal. The concession granted to the company, under a public service frame, of the Natural Gas Regional Distribution Network of the Central Interior Region, in 1998, was the result of the introduction of natural gas at national level.

Beiragás activity represents 6% of the energy consumption in mainland Portugal.
