Museum Center at Casa da Ínsua

The Museum Center at Casa da Ínsua is part of the project for the rehabilitation and requalification of a very important classified patrimonial heritage, serving not only the valorisation of Casa da Ínsua as a unique hotel unit in the country, but also the enrichment of national history, particularly as to what concerns Portuguese-Brazilian relations in the eighteenth century, through the action of Luis de Albuquerque de Mello Pereira e Cáceres, governor and captain-general of the captaincy of Mato Grosso (Brazil), between 1772 and 1788.
